Hi, I’m Kennedy, a Neurofeedback Technician. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Carleton University, along with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. My academic training, combined with experience in both a private psychology practice and at The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, has shaped my understanding of mental health as both deeply personal and influenced by the broader environments we live in.

I have always been fascinated by the brain, particularly its capacity for growth, adaptation, and resilience. This curiosity is what drew me to neurofeedback and continues to fuel my interest in supporting overall well-being from a brain-based perspective. In my work, I prioritize collaboration, transparency, and creating a space where individuals feel genuinely comfortable and respected. I believe meaningful progress happens when people feel safe and understood. My background in Women and Gender Studies has strengthened my commitment to inclusivity, cultural awareness, and recognizing the diverse experiences that shape each person’s journey.

I look forward to working alongside you as you move toward greater balance and well-being!

Kennedy provides neurofeedback services including QEEG brain mapping assessments, neurofeedback sessions, and NeurOptimal sessions.

Welcome! I’m Chloe Ellard, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

Life can bring unexpected challenges and changes that can influence our ability to manage the demands of everyday. Therapy can provide a space to navigate current obstacles, explore behaviours and patterns or allow you to acknowledge and release emotions. Although it can be daunting to be vulnerable, I am so glad that you are here and that you are taking this step in your well-being journey!

I meet you at your starting point, and collaboratively we build strategies based on your unique experiences, strengths, goals and obstacles. I aim to build a warm and safe environment so that you feel heard and supported without judgment. I believe that therapy is a personal experience, and feeling understood can allow you to uncover new beliefs about yourself. My goal is for you to feel confident in the skills you learn so that you can navigate current life challenges and know that you are supported in the future.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, stress, self-esteem, school challenges, life transitions, suicidal thoughts and self-harm. I also have a MSc in Sport Psychology, and support athletes struggling with sport performance, anxiety, and self-criticism. I specialize in working with children, youth and teens, and young adults.

I look forward to getting to know you and starting this journey together!

Hi there! I am Jamie, senior Neurofeedback Technician. In 2015, I obtained an Honours BSc from Carleton University with a specialization in Psychology. My thesis work examined the brain’s natural learning processes and biases - specifically how it implicitly detects and responds to patterns - laying a foundation for understanding self-regulation in approaches like neurofeedback. I then went on to obtain a BEd from the University of Ottawa in 2017. I am currently working as a teacher and have published two children’s books (Farts are like Snowflakes, Better With You in It).

I am very enthusiastic about education, mental health, and overall well-being. Helping people to achieve their goals in these areas has always been a passion of mine. My aim is to help all clients and students with an approach that is tailored to them as an individual.

I’m so excited to help you be the best version of yourself!

With a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology from Carleton University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, I am committed to support you on your journey toward personal growth and well-being.

Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling uncertain, stuck, or overwhelmed by their emotions. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and move toward your goals in a meaningful way.

I primarily practice from a person-centered approach, grounding my work in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy and trauma-informed care. I am also certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). I ensure that our work together is personalized and aligned with your unique needs, strengths and lived experiences.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and suicidal thoughts, ideations or self-harm. I also support individuals navigating addictions, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. I work with children (6+), teens, and adults.
